About Us

I was just 12 years old when I watched a local sign painter letter my brother's race car. That was what sparked my own passion for the art of design and graphics.

My dad had been racing cars my whole life, then my brother started when I was 12. I too started that year racing go-karts. I have as much passion for racing as I do for graphic arts.

I completed my first helmet design and paint job for a friend in 1988 at the age of 18. At this point I was painting helmets randomly for the next few years. It wasn't until I painted my own go kart helmet in 2000 that I started my own business in the specialty art of helmet design. I decided to start painting under the name of Jungle Cat Designs.

This fell into place with my full time employment as a sign painter which i began right out of high school. At the age of 19, I started my own sign business with a partner, under the name of Creative Edge Signs & Graphics Inc.

I continue now under the same name as sole business owner. I enjoy the wide range of creativity this industry allows.

To this day, I am an active racer in stock cars, motorcross and go karts. Being this close to the action allows me to keep on top of the latest helmet designs and support my motorsport customers.
